Here’s what I’m lovin’ this week:

Orange Is The New Black Season 3: [Disclaimer: Don’t read this section until you’ve finished all three seasons because I can’t promise that I don’t spoil anything for you.] I just finished season 3 of Orange Is The New Black this week, and I have to say that I’m still confused on my thoughts about the latest season. I enjoyed getting to learn more about the inmates’ back stories and seeing some of my favorite characters get more air time, but the show is moving further away from Piper and her story. Having said that, as the show goes on I’m disliking Piper more and more. I’m still confused on why she has feelings for Alex after Alex landed her in jail in both seasons 1 and 2, and I don’t like that she is an evil crime boss is season 3. I miss Larry. I think he made her normal.

Vlogging: It’s been forrrr…evvvv…errr, but I started vlogging (video blogging) again! You can check out my videos on my PopFitLife YouTube channel.

I don't think think there's a better way to end a weekend and kick off a new week than @lululemon & @surfyogabeer's RunYogaBeer event! Tons of sweat, beer, and community last night! ???

RunYogaBeer: On Sunday evening, I participated in a RunYogaBeer event hosted by SurfYogaBeer and Lululemon Lincoln Square. The evening consisted of a run through Central Park (broken up by various fitness challenges), a yoga class held back at the store, and some socializing over beer and cocktails made with WTRMLN WTR (watermelon water), my favorite drink of the summer season! I didn’t know anyone there at the beginning of the evening, but the SurfYogaBeer community was extremely welcoming and fun (I even got a recommendation for a new dentist in the City!). I can see why the SurfYogaBeer fitness retreats (which take place in Montauk, Costa Rica, and Hawaii) are so popular.  I’ll have to check one out as soon as my schedule and bank account allow it. I had a great time and wish this was a weekly event! #sadface

Independence Day: The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love the food, the fireworks, and the patriotism! I’m heading to Pennsylvania today to spend the holiday weekend in Nick’s hometown, so I’ll be sure to post a new vlog of our weekend adventures around Wednesday of next week!

Paper Source: This store was recommended to me as a place to find a great host gift for my trip to Pennsylvania this weekend. I immediately fell in love as I walked in the door! I ended up picking up a Rewined Candle in the scent, Rosé. I think it will be the perfect host gift for wine lovers. Paper Source carries everything from beautiful, witty greeting cards to gag gifts to home decor. I wanted it all…but thankfully I got out of there with just the candle! #willpower

Let me know what you’re loving this week in the comments below. Have a wonderful and safe Independence Day Weekend!

Stay fit and fabulous,

[…] For now, I stick to SurfYogaBeer’s local events! Last summer, I hit up my first SYB event, RunYogaBeer, at Lululemon which I absolutely loved. Friday’s event was my first bootcamp with the group and it did not […]
