After some reflection, I realized that last week was probably the best normal week I’ve had in a while. Nothing extraordinary happened, but it was so much fun! It made me see how blessed I am for the opportunities I’ve had and the friends I’ve made since I moved up here a year ago. For this, I am truly thankful.
I am grateful to have New York City and everything it offers only a short drive/train ride away.
I am grateful to have been a part of my friend Lance’s final community ride with my friends.
I am grateful that Lance is officially a SoulCycle instructor now. He’s a SOUL rockstar! Take his class. It won’t disappoint.
I am grateful for Henry, my friend Ben’s French bulldog. Lily is always my #1, but Henry is pretty stinkin’ cute, no?!
I am grateful to have been able to see Newsies with my friends in celebration of Broadway Week.
I am grateful that my friend, Matt, could experience Newsies as his first Broadway show.
I am grateful that my friends, Ben and Betsy, could experience Newsies as their 300+ Broadway show. The love and excitement for Broadway that was radiating off of Ben was contagious, and it made my evening.
I am grateful for paddleboarding. It is one of my favorite workouts in the summer. Paddling upstream was tough, but it was worth it to be able to peacefully float downstream while having great conversation…Huck and Jim style!
I am grateful for gorgeous, sunny, 70 degree weather.
I am grateful for my job. Everything seems to be falling into place nicely at the moment.
I am grateful for my blog and the doors it has opened for me – as well as what’s (hopefully) to come.
I am grateful for the beginning of fall.
I am grateful for birthday rides packed with friends at SoulCycle. They always bring a smile to my face.
I am grateful for time with my friend, Matt, before he moves across the country for a new job.
I am grateful for tacos and red velvet cake (as long as it has cream cheese frosting!). Seriously. Delicious.
I am grateful for birthday parties.
I am grateful for old friends as well as new ones.
I am grateful for music that you just can’t help but move to.
I am grateful for friends that will bust a move with me no matter how silly we look.
I am grateful for fun days that turn into (unplanned) unforgettable late nights.
I am grateful for good times with friends that can’t even be mentioned again…let alone be mentioned on this blog.
I am grateful for days when I accidentally leave my phone at home. It was a pain in the butt at the moment, but it was just what I needed.
I am grateful for Sunday brunch.
I am grateful for football season…even if both the Falcons and Giants lost.
I am grateful for #latergrams.
And lastly, I am grateful for technology because I’m writing this post (my first!) on my Blogger iPhone app during my lunch break and it’s pretty darn cool if I do say so myself!
I AM GRATEFUL!
Stay fit and fabulous (and grateful, of course!),
