Bucket List #147: DANS LE NOIR? Review

Last week, I got to mark #147 off my bucket list – Dine at DANS LE NOIR?.  DANS LE NOIR? is a different kind of dining experience because diners eat in complete darkness and don’t know the menu until after the dessert course.  I first heard about this kind of restaurant from a CSI: Las Vegas episode about… [Read More]

Hair Update!

My most recent hair photo (this might be without mousse in it) – Fantasy of Trees 2012!   Two months ago from today I decided to walk into a salon to get a perm body wave.  Since the craziest thing I’ve done to my hair is cut off ten inches for Locks of Love, this was kind… [Read More]

iFit – The Coolest Fitness Technology Ever

While at the Runner’s World Half and Festival, I was introduced to some life changing news – the treadmill no longer has to be the dreadmill!  On Friday morning, the blogger group had the option of running parts of the race course with Bart Yasso.  Since it was pouring rain and I only brought one… [Read More]

Life Update: Where Have I Been?!

Things I’m Thankful For!

Photo from here. 1.  My family – they have always been very supportive of my crazy ideas and dreams whether it is creating a Halloween costume from scratch or moving across the country solo.2.  My friends – whether I’ve known them eleven years or eleven days, they are the best friends anyone could ask… [Read More]

The Only Disability In Life Is A Bad Attitude

While at the Runner’s World Half and Festival, I got to attend a talk/meet and greet with Ironman Matt Long.  I don’t know if it’s his confidence or his classic New Yorker accent (seriously, the guy had me at “sneakers” and “burgers”…), but I don’t know how anyone can leave a room with him… [Read More]
