I first discovered Active Accessories at the Runner’s World Half and Festival, and I was immediately intrigued. I’m one of those people that always has her hands full when entering and leaving the gym. I carry my phone, my iPod, my car key, my license, my key chain with the gym card on it (which won’t fit on the car key ring), my Kindle Fire (sometimes) and a water bottle!
The Active Accessories pouch keeps my belongings organized and my hands free! I’m planning to do my long run (20 miler!) in NYC this week to keep my mind busy, and this pouch is the perfect accessory during my run as well as for my travels into the city. There is a zipper pouch on one side and a pocket on the other side. In the middle, there is a snap clip. I attach my keys to it, but it’s also great for rings and Active Accessories On-The-Go Hairbands (keep reading!). The best part is that these pouches come in four fun colors: pink, black, black with white polka dots (the one I have!), and white with pink and black polka dots. The insides are colorful too – I love the pop of teal color inside my black pouch, don’t you? If you want to get one of your own they are currently on sale for $14.95 (and FREE shipping)!
Active Accessories also has On-The-Go Hairbands. I rocked mine yesterday with my Atlanta Falcons shirt (what a win!!!) They also have black, blue, and pink combos if red/black isn’t your thing. To be honest, I wasn’t sure how the bands would last since they are tied in a knot as opposed to an infinity circle like hair elastics, but they work great! I also wore them as colorful arm candy throughout the week. They make great bracelets! You can get a pack of these hair ties for $9.99 (and FREE shipping).
These items make great stocking stuffers and/or gifts for friends. Order them soon – one week until Christmas! In addition, be sure to support this awesome small business by following their social media sites:
